Older projects
In a world facing several crises I end up wondering about the portuguese behaviour and reality. I don’t think we are doing everything we could towards really important issues and, pretty often, I believe we just don’t really care about what’s happening around us. Sometimes we are just too confortable listening and nobody actually acts or tries to make any difference. I don’t forget all the great things about us, what made us, or makes us, recognizable all over the globe. I just feel I have to express some of my sadness about our current reality. We are getting used to a certain state of affairs that, in a short term, is going to affect us all as a social and political community. Daily conforts are taken as granted and our representatives are, most of the time, anything less than controversial. I’ve focused this project on two thoughts: “My country is all about food and football” and “Controversy”. Therefore, I created artwork to emphasize the full meaning of these.
Some personal illustration work.
A photography I took thinking about how shadows create new spaces in the buildings that surround us.
A brochure I made, in late 2008, with my portfolio and my curriculum vitae.
A set for Hugo Create, a graphic design contest hosted by Hugo Boss.
A set of typographical posters.
A poster of Beethoven.
This piece is entirely digital. I focused my attention on the eyes.
A logo proposal for a new marketing/ad agency.
